StockX fees 2026: the seller-level ladder, current edition

StockX charges every seller two fees: a flat 3% processing fee, and a transaction fee that steps down as your seller level rises. Most third-party guides still publish the old ladder — this one is taken from StockX’s own fee page, and it is the structure almost no reseller spreadsheet bothers to include at all.

Level 28.5%3%11.5%
Level 38%3%11%
Level 47.5%3%10.5%
Level 57%3%10%

Your level is set by your sales volume over StockX’s review period. A $5 minimum seller fee applies per US sale, so very cheap items pay the $5 rather than the percentage. Shipping on StockX is generally charged to the buyer at StockX’s rates. If a guide you’re reading shows a 10% → 8% ladder, it is describing the retired schedule.

Worked examples

A $50 sale — Level 1

Sale price$50.00
Transaction fee (9%)−$4.50
Processing fee (3%)−$1.50
You receive$44.00

A $200 sale — Level 1 vs Level 5

Sale price$200.00
Fees at Level 1 (12%)−$24.00
You receive at Level 1$176.00
Fees at Level 5 (10%)−$20.00
You receive at Level 5$180.00

Before your item cost. The $4 gap between levels on a single $200 sale is the fee schedule quietly paying for volume.

Why this matters for your books

Two StockX traps wreck spreadsheets: using one flat rate for a fee that depends on your level, and copying the retired ladder from a stale blog post. The Sold Ledger’s Settings tab carries all five levels — set yours once, step it up when you level up, and every StockX sale nets correctly. Almost no other reseller spreadsheet includes StockX at all. The same table ships in the file, stamped with its verification date.
